Terms: Opptain CRM

These terms cover Opptain CRM, a service for companies, used through ChatGPT or Claude. Opptain is made by runMast LLC. Last updated 22 October 2026. The privacy page is part of them.

The company owns its data. Everything the company and its members put into the CRM belongs to the company. We process it to run the company's CRM for it, and use a narrow set of information for our own running of the service (sign-in and security, billing, support, and improving the product from records of how it is used, such as the shape of the questions asked and who asked), as the privacy page says.

The admin. Each company has at least one admin, chosen by the company. Admins invite and remove people, decide who sees and edits what, set how long personal details are kept, approve the changes the company's rules give them, buy seats and download the company's data. What an admin approves, the company has approved. The company keeps its list of admins current and tells us at info@opptain.com if one should no longer be.

Using it. The CRM answers questions about the company's records and drafts changes. Its answers are based on what has been recorded and can be incomplete or wrong; check anything you rely on. Changes the company's rules protect (a deal's stage, amount or close date, an owner, a deletion) are made only when the right person presses Approve in the panel; the assistant can draft a change but never approve one. Email to one customer goes from the member's own mailbox, through their own assistant, after they say yes. Campaigns (below) are the only email the CRM sends to people outside the company, and only once a member approves them.

Licenses and seats. The CRM is licensed to the company in named seats, for a yearly or monthly term, paid by card or by purchase order as the order form says. A seat belongs to one person at a time; the admin can move it. The number of seats doesn't go down during a term.

Trials. A company with no license starts with a 90-day trial, once, with a seat for everyone and no charge. When it ends without a license, it ends the same way a license does (below).

When a license ends (a trial not followed by a license, a card canceled or a term not renewed): for 14 days everyone can still find, read and download, and change nothing; the admins are told, and reminded on day 7. Then only admins can sign in, to buy seats, download the data or free seats. The records are kept, and buying again brings everything back. A license that has ended is not notice of leaving; to leave, see Leaving.

Acceptable use. Use the CRM for the company's own business, with data the company has the right to keep and use. Don't put in health information, government identifiers, payment card numbers or passwords. Don't try to reach another company's data, get around a permission or an approval, or overload the service.

Campaign email. A company that sends campaigns is the sender, and is responsible for following the law where its recipients are; campaigns are for recipients in the United States, under the CAN-SPAM Act. The CRM helps, and won't send without:

It never emails anyone who opted out, bounced or was erased, and it honors an opt-out at once. It limits how many emails go out each day. If recipients mark too many as spam, it pauses the company's sending until an admin looks.

Suspension. We may suspend a person's or a company's access, or pause its sending, if it breaks these terms, puts other customers or the service at risk, or a payment fails, and we tell the company's admins why and what will restore it. A suspension never deletes data, and an admin can still download it.

Leaving. A company can leave at any time: an admin writes to info@opptain.com. Notice is at most two months. After it, a 30-day switch period, in which everything works and the download is offered; then 30 more days in which an admin can still download everything; then we delete the company's data, and backups age out on their own schedule after that. Until the switch period starts, the company can take its notice back. Downloading is free, at any time, including during notice.

Changes. We may change the service and these terms. We tell each company's admins at least 30 days before a change that reduces what the company gets, and the new terms apply from the next term.

Warranty and liability. The service is provided as is, without warranty, to the extent the law allows.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Trademarks. Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, ChatGPT, Claude and Stripe are trademarks of their respective owners. Opptain is not affiliated with any of them.
