This covers the website at opptain.com, and Opptain Rep and Opptain Team used through ChatGPT or Claude. Opptain is made by runMast LLC. Last updated 6 November 2026.

The website

What the site collects: nothing on its own. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third parties except its fonts, which Google Fonts serves under Google's privacy policy.

The request form. If you send it, we receive what you typed: your name, work email, company, team size, the assistant and CRM you use, and any notes. We use it only to reply to you. We don't sell it, share it, or add you to a mailing list. It's kept 12 months and then deleted automatically, and the confirmation email has a link that deletes it at once. Cloudflare runs the form and stores the request; Resend delivers the emails.

Opptain Rep: what a rep's record holds

Your own assistant reads your mail, calls and calendar. Opptain keeps the record. Your sales record, as you and your assistant build it:

• your name, company and role;
• the accounts and deals you work;
• the people at those accounts (names, work email addresses, job titles and roles);
• the facts and dates about each deal and where each came from, including what a customer said or wrote, passed in by your assistant from your mail, your calendar, call recordings and team chat;
• what is owed either way;
• the notes you write for yourself.

Also:

• Your comp plan and goals, only as your company releases them through Opptain Team (below).
• What your assistant can do, as it tells us (send email, use your calendar, update your CRM, make documents), so Opptain suggests only what it can do.
• Sign-in and access: the connection your assistant registers, its sign-in tokens (we keep only their hashes), your key (kept encrypted under those tokens), and a log of every time your record is opened, with the time, the IP address and which Opptain tool was used.
• The sign-in log: each step of signing in, including attempts by people without a record: the time, the IP address, the browser and device details the browser sends, and which app it came from. It never holds a password, code or token. We keep it 30 days. Attempts that don't match any record are kept 30 days too.
• Which suggestions you were shown, by kind only (for example "draft an email"), never the customer or the wording.
• Watch emails, only if you turn them on: a short summary of what needs action soon, naming the customer and the deal, sent only to you through Resend. Your ratings of them are kept by kind of alert only. Every email has "stop these emails".
• Feedback you send ("Opptain feedback: …") goes to Opptain's operators in your words, with the app, the assistant and the last Opptain tool you used, never anything from your record. Resend delivers a daily email of it.

Opptain never holds your passwords or connections for your CRM, mail, calendar, call recordings or team chat. Your assistant reads those with your own connections and passes in only what's needed. We don't collect payment card details, government identifiers or health information.

Opptain Team: what leaders put in

A manager or leader uses Opptain Team for their reporting line. What they submit is kept for their company:

• comp plans and goal sheets: a manager submits them and a director releases them, after each answers that the company's policy allows sharing them with Opptain. We keep the figures and terms (quota, rates, goals and clauses), never the plan document;
• who reports to whom (the org chart) and the reporting lines it sets;
• the sales process: the stages and what each needs;
• the fiscal calendar, reviews of the quarter, the pages a leader shares with their team, and their answers to what reps send them.

Opptain keeps nothing a rep types or pastes in as a comp plan. Anything pasted into ChatGPT or Claude stays in that assistant's history, under its terms.

Who sees what

• You see your whole record.
• Your manager and the managers above them see the deals, accounts and contacts in your record: their details, the facts and what customers said and wrote, the activity, the drafts waiting for you, and the commits you record.
• Your notes stay yours. A note is what you write in your own words, for yourself. No one else at your company reads it: not your manager, not your company's admins.
• Your company's admins can see every record, but not your notes.
• Comp plans: you see your own part; a manager or director sees only their own team's.
• A free seat that isn't part of a company: no manager sees it. If you join your company's Opptain, your manager sees the deals your company's CRM holds for you, and never your notes. You see that notice, and a list of those deals, before you join.
• Opptain's administrators can read records on our servers. The software opens your record only while your assistant is signed in.
• Your AI assistant's provider (OpenAI for ChatGPT, Anthropic for Claude) receives the answers you ask for, because it shows them to you, under your plan's terms. On a company plan, its admins may be able to export chats.
• No one else. Nothing goes to your CRM, mail or anywhere outside Opptain unless you confirm it, and then your own tools send it, not us.

mcp.opptain.com, the first version of Opptain, closed on 1 November 2026. Its records were deleted with its server, disk and snapshots; Google finishes deleting them from its own systems within about six months.

Why

To answer what you ask (where you stand, which deals will slip, what to ask on the next call, what to write to your CRM), to keep a record of who opened yours, and to learn which suggestions help and what to build next. Nothing else. We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train any model.

Where it's kept

In the United States. rep.opptain.com and team.opptain.com run on hardware we operate, and Cloudflare carries the traffic to them. Resend delivers our email, and keeps a copy of each email it sends for us for 30 days.

How long it's kept, and deleting it

• Your record stays until you remove it. Remove any item at any time ("remove something from my record"); each removal is logged.
• Delete everything at once: say "delete my record". It shows what will go and asks you to confirm. Then your record, its access log and every sign-in are deleted on the spot, and your assistant is disconnected. (The access log is kept as long as your record, and deleted with it.) What you already sent your manager, such as commits and shared pages, stays with your company. We keep only that a record was deleted, and when.
• If we restore a backup of rep. or team., anyone erased since it was made is erased again.
• Backups of rep. and team. are sealed with a key we destroy after 14 days, so after that we can't read them.
• A free record nobody uses for 30 days gets a warning, and is deleted 10 days later. This doesn't apply to records in a company.
• Demo records (Run the demo) hold invented data and are deleted, with their sign-ins and access log, 7 days after they're made.
• Sign-in tokens last 12 hours. The encrypted copy of your key is deleted within a minute of its token ending.
• Feedback you send stays until you delete it ("delete my feedback"); deleting your record deletes it too.
• A copy: say "send me a copy of my record" for one file with your record, its access log and your feedback. The link works for one hour.

Other things to know

Opptain is offered in the United States only, for people at work selling to businesses, and isn't meant for anyone under 18. If this page changes, the date above changes with it.
